BIA Innovator Campus

Established in 2017, BIA is Ireland’s leading VET body for the food sector, providing incubation and innovation support and mobilising industry collaboration projects. These include climate-smart initiatives, inclusion and citizenship projects around food sovereignty and security. As a VET organization, BIA is also an inclusive point of access to powerful food industry knowledge and skills all in one place.

For the DIGIFABS project, BIA will support finding suitable best practice cases as well as potential SMEs for the ‘SME goes Digital Challenge’ for analysis (WP3) as well as support during the conceptualization of the boot camps and summer schools, including supporting the recruitment of SMEs to participate in the piloting of the boot camps and challenge (WP4 & WP5) and recruiting companies for a local factory tour (WP6).

Throughout the project, BIA will actively promote it to their well-established local network (WP8) and provide feedback towards a high level of sustainability of the results. BIA will work alongside all partners in each Work Package for a collaborative approach to managing the project outputs.
