SWTP

SWTP is a dynamic and vibrant organisation established in 2015. It comprises over 400 members dedicated to advocating for the development of new technologies, particularly those aligned with digital transformation trends. SWTP supports individuals involved in these processes by providing specialised training and disseminating information about technological development pathways.

SWTP’s membership includes professionals from various engineering fields, as well as experts in innovation and technology transfer, business enthusiasts, and young technology aficionados. Together, they work collaboratively to establish stronger foundations for future technological development.

The headquarters of SWTP are located in Warsaw, with activities and members dispersed across Poland. Digital technologies are extensively utilised to coordinate these actions. Local branches have been established in major cities, and their number is steadily increasing. All branches, both in the capital city and regional areas, are part of the extensive engineering network, the Federation of Polish Engineering Associations (FSNT-NOT), founded in 1835, which unites over 110,000 individual members across 40 technical, scientific, and engineering organisations nationwide.

The organisation is widely recognised for its strong focus on the use of digital technologies and for fostering understanding of their implementation in non-governmental organisations and businesses. One of SWTP’s primary goals is to educate the youth in these areas and to actively promote lifelong learning. Social responsibility and sustainable development goals are at the core of all its activities.

MEET THE TEAM

Kamil Wójcik

SWTP President

Kamil Wójcik is an experienced manager, entrepreneur and educator, specialising in IT applications He has been working in the IT area since 2000. In 2004, he developed systems for accessing the Internet via television networks. As part of the “Technology Platforms Incubator” project, he initiated the project of developing and implementing a common communication platform for the Federation of Polish Engineering Associations. Parallel to his socially directed activity in 2008 he developed one of the first electronic public opinion polling systems in Poland. He was an expert and manager at Bank Ochrony Środowiska S.A. For his activities in the area of IT in the banking sector, he was nominated for the Remigiusz Kaszubski Award. Key competencies Kamil brings to DigiFabs include excellent digital technology understanding and extensive networks.

Tomasz Krawczyk

SWTP Vice-president

Tomasz Krawczyk has extensive experience in managing the economic and organisational development of NGOs. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, he’s an experienced organiser of webinars and conferences, mainly on science and technology. As the SWTP co-founder, and Vice-President, he actively to increase technical knowledge among young people, emphasise the role and contribution of engineers in raising civilization standards of living, familiarise young people with technical universities and research institutes, and encourage young people to study technical sciences. Key skills Tomasz brings to DigiFabs are great organisation and education process management.
